Various business consulting projects have been successfully completed in both the Government and Commercial sectors. These include business operations realignment, business process reengineering, organisational transformation, governance and risk management initiatives. We have successfully assisted numerous clients by ensuring their requirements are clearly defined and are met by the deliverables of our project team. Where possible, key members of the client organisation become part of the project team, to facilitate the knowledge transfer that is essential for the intervention to be sustainable after it moves into the business operations.
Tsepo has been involved within the government environment to ensure selected organisations comply with fundamentals of corporate governance. We have been required to design, deliver and implement policies, procedures and processes to ensure workflow can be performed according to governance principles. Our skill-base is of such a nature that we are able to diversify into the various sectors of the markets and yet still provide professional solutions of high quality, within predetermined delivery times and according client requirements within the diversified operational spectrums.
We have conducted forensic audits of various business processes and large system projects where fraud or corrupt practices have been identified. Our findings have led to the successful charging of corrupt employees and suppliers, as well as providing the information for our clients to tighten their controls to prevent a recurrence of the same problems.
Our strategy is to not only enhance our own skills but to share our experiences and capabilities with our clients, enabling them to attain new levels within their own environment. We require our clients to identify resources to be part of the solution composition that we offer. Our deliverables include not only a solution as per the requirement definition but also the empowering of client personnel that were exposed to the entire drive. Formal training programmes as well as on-the-job training have been utilised to ensure that our business interventions become part of the normal business operations performed by the client personnel.
We have successfully sourced key resources for many government and commercial clients, both on a temporary (contract) or permanent basis. Our main focus is on identifying key specialists in IT, Business and Project Management, ensuring a correct cultural and experience match which results in a lasting relationship between the client and the individual. We have also been able to provide lower-level operational resources, often to fill new positions which have been created through our consulting interventions.
We have been strategically involved with the design of ICT architectural blueprints for leading government entities that require the integration of legacy systems into a single enterprise-wide product, to provide effective information to authorities as and when required, from various geographic locations, to assist them to effectively execute their day-to-day functions. We have been involved with the security architecture for new enterprise-wide systems. We also provide our clients with solutions to encrypt their data to secure their information in the event of theft.
STRATEGIC AND TURNAROUND CONSULTING
We have assisted certain Commercial clients with revision of their business strategies in order to realign their future direction with changing opportunities and competition. This included the definition of the strategy, the communication of it throughout the organisation and the initiatives required to effect the necessary changes. Monitoring and reporting of the progress of the organisation against the new strategy is a critical part of the implementation. In some cases we have assisted ailing businesses with the development and implementation of a turnaround strategy as a short-term intervention to prevent further deterioration of the business and to allow them to follow a new direction to restore the business to profitability and success.
SYSTEM, BUSINESS AND PROJECT AUDITS
We have assisted various organisations with audits of operational processes or projects which are problematic or failing to realise their objectives. These audits have included recommendations of the actions required to resolve the issues and prevent them from continuing. Our specialised resources have been used to investigate various financial, legal, governance, risk management, operational and project related issues.
